Punyala dah lama Apit tag aku soh buat entri ni. Dek sibuk ngan assignment manjang, tertangguh punya lama. Another reason is, susah gak nak namakan 10 movie paling disukai. Aku ni kaki wayang. Dulu kalau dating ngan En Rashid, tengok wayang je keje dia. TENGOK wayang yer, bukan BUAT wayang. Percayalah, aku budak baik dulu....muahahahaa (apesal gelak macam jin? no motive.)
Agak lama jugak aku nak come up ngan list aku ni. Ye ah, actually wayang cite orang dewasa ni dah lama gak aku tak tengok. Asyik2 dok tengok cite disney je. Dah tu yang anak2 aku suka heret pi tengok. Takkan nak ajak aku pi tengok cite Saw IV lak kan?
Okla, cukup meraban. Time to get down to business. Ni aku list down in no particular order. Mana datang ke kepala otak aku, aku catit.
1. The Road Home
1st time aku tengok cite ni, aku nangis tak hengat dunia!! Tersedu-sedu, sampai En Rashid pun panik. Member tengah tido, alih2 aku masuk bilik tido sambil menangis2. Tak pasal2, kena bangun tido pujuk aku. Tapi serious la, cite ni memang feeling habis. Eventho dah 3 kali aku tengok, tiap kali mesti nangis bangat punya la!! Sampai aritu kluar lagi kat TV, En Rashid dah warning, jangan tengok! Kang tak pasal2 nangis sampai bengkak2 mata. Uwaaaa...tapi itu cite banyak sedih...kena la nangis sampai air hidung semua kluar. Baru feel!!
2. Dirty Dancing
Cite ni dulu, aku selalu tengok ngan kekawan sekolah asrama dulu (Amoi! Nira! Fara! Kowie! Zam!). Part paling kitaorang suka, mesti part yang dia joget last2 tu. Time tu semua feeling Patrick Swayze nyanyi lagu tu untuk diri memasing. Time tu jugak la semua berangan nak pakai gown ala skirt kembang. Nanti pusing2, bleh terangkat2 gitu. Muahahahaa...giller poyos! Tapi cite ni memang best. Kalau tengok, mesti jatuh rindu pada kekawan lama aku yang dah bertahun tak jumpa. Mana korang ah?!!
3. Ghost
Pakcik Patrick lagi. Tapi kali ni, aku suka cite ni sebab watak Whoopie yang sangat lawak. And of course dia punya lagu Unchained Melody. Time tu jugak la terasa nak belajar buat pottery. Poyos lagi!! Dek cite ni jugak la, aku pi suruh amoi kedai gunting rambut potong rambut aku pendek giller ala Demi Moore. Balik rumah, kena hambat ngan ibu aku sebab dah rupa macam jantan!!
4. Grease
Cite ni lama giller, 1st time aku tengok, umur aku 5-6 tahun kot. Tapi time tu dah pandai jatuh cinta pada pakcik Travolta ni. And bercita2 bila besar nak jadi Pink Ladies. Cite ni aku rasa evergreen ah, tengok banyak kali pun tak muak. Walaupun sangat cheesy, tapi aku suka!!
5. My Wife is a Gangster 3
Ni Jojet kot yang introduce aku kat cite ni. Lawak tak hingat!! Tapi aku suka minah heroin ni, lawa. Dah aku pun bercita2 nak pandai martial arts macam dia. Muahahaha. "Hero2" cite ni yang buat best, ala gangster tak menjadi. Cite ni, aku tengok takde subtitle pun bleh ketawa terbahak2. Cam paham jer...
6. While You Were Sleeping
1st time aku tengok cite ni, masa kat wayang. Ngan sapa ntah...tapi lepas tu aku suka giler ngan Sandra Bullock. Cite ni pun sangat la sweet and romantik and funny. Aku paling suka part yang ada budak tukang hantar suratkhabar ke rumah orang tetiba jatuh basikal. Macam sangat random incident tu...lawak giller.
7. The Proposal
Ni lagi satu cite yang buat aku makin suka ngan Sandra Bullock. And of course, my toyboy, Ryan. Muahahaha. Betty White pun awesome dalam cite ni, lawak selamba je. Aku rasa kot orang lain berlakon dalam cite ni, mesti tak best sebab jalan cite dia agak lame jugak la. Tapi dek characters cite ni yang best, so cite ni pun jadi best! Oya, part Sandra ngan Ryan bogel dan berlanggar sesama dalam bilik tu, of course aku pause!! Muahahahaha...
8. Sixth Sense
Aku memang suka tengok cite hantu but most of them, aku tengok sekali lepas tu dah taknak tengok lagi. Reason either takut sangat or dah tak takut sebab dah tau cite dia. Tapi 6th Sense ni lain sket. Takut tapi aku suka tengok again and again sebab aku rasa cite ni sangat intelligent sebenarnya. Cara cerita dia unravel...memang aku terperanjat beruk la part twist ending dia.
9. Sleepless in Seattle
Aku rasa Meg Ryan sangat cute dalam cite ni. Ending dia pun sangat sweet. Time aku ngan En Rashid pi NY dulu, aku berangan nak jumpa jejaka kacak yang sedang menunggu aku kat atas Empire State Building. Bila naik, pusing2...balik2 jumpa muka En Rashid. Itu dah jodoh la tu namanya...takde Tom Hanks nak menunggu aku kat situ dah. Heeee.
10. Stand By Me
Aku suka cite ni sebab ada arwah husband aku yang dulu, River Pheonix. Eventhough time ni dia still budak2, tapi cara berlakon dia dah perghhh dah. Plus jalan cite dia best.

I had forgotten about this so-called personality test due to all that's been happening until JAD reminded me in my last post. Ok, so here it goes.

My answer was Blue - calm, cooling, romantic. I have no comment other than calm??!! I can't remember the last time I was calm. And does one become cooling? Or should it read as cool? Because I'm definitely that...I'm the coolest Mom to walk Bangi ground. Just as my kids would agree. Heee.
MOTL said basically the same thing Blue - calm, cool and soothing. Soothing...wow, your husband must be one lucky guy :D.
JAD mentioned Red - bold, bright, pretty. Hehehehe...nice.
2)Think about your favorite animal and write down three words describing that animal.
The words used to desribe your favorite animal reveals how you think others see you.
My answer was Cat - aloof, independant, carefree. I would have to agree though I would like to be able to change people's perception of me being aloof. I am not a snob!! Carefree? Well, I try not to let the small things in life bother me much. Coz I'm cool, right?
MOTL said Cat - cute, cuddly and playful. I don't know if people calling me cuddly is a good thing...unless it's my husband or my kids. Other than that, cuddly could be interpreted as ...ehem...gedebab! Hehehe..
JAD put down giraffe: tall / elegant / thin. OK, I know JAD personally and she is no giraffe. Hahaha...ok la, bagi can...part elegant I will accept. :D

JAD answered bored / sleepy / restless. I'm kind of worried for her....

This one, well this one reveals how you like your sex.
My answer was Waterfall - refreshing, energizing, fast. Holy sex kitten-MILF-couger rolled into one!! I nearly fell off my chair when I saw what that question revealed. No comment...no comment...hahahahhaaa!

Something To Get To Know You Better By
Since I'm poofed from my class assignments and won't have much time to write a proper post, let's do a bit of a psychological profiling exercise. Here's where I get my 3 readers to tell me more about themselves and I hope in the process, learn something about themselves as well.
OK, answer the following questions truthfully.

Blog Tag On My Spouse
Walaupun hari ni Sabtu, tapi sebagai pekerja yang dedicated nak mampos, aku kena pi keje. Sib baik kat ofis Cyber, takde la jauh sangat. Sementara aku tunggu bebudak technical ni sampai siap pasangkan benda2 yang nak soh aku testing (kata nak start kul 9...ni dah kul berapa?!! Aku hempuk kepala sekor2 kang...sia2 aku bangun awal!!), aku layan blog tag dari kak Dila ni kejap.
Ahhhh..mesti korang tau aku nak buat blog tag sebab berbahasa ibunda kan? OK, kita mulakan sekarang.
Kejap..baca balik soklan2 dia. Kejap...nak copy paste sket.
Ok, sekarang kita mula balik.
1. Where did you first meet your hubby/other half and when was it?
Masa tu kita orang tengah English course kat UiTM KL. Tahun 1994. En Rashid ni join scholar group kitaorg lambat. Agaknya dia dapat masuk sebab ada orang lain reject scholarship Kompeni kot. Muahahaha, cam bagus je aku bleh kutuk dia. Padahal result SPM dia lagi perfect dari aku.
2. Was it love at first sight?
Muahahahahaaa. Keji tak cara aku gelak? Bukan apa, aku dok terkenang la hubby masa kitaorg baru2 jumpa dulu. Langsung aku tak berkenan ngan dia. Pada aku time tu, dia sungguh the budak kampung. Cakap English pun broken nak mampos. Lagipun En Rashid, dia jenis tak geng budak pompuan. Konon macam jual mahal la tu, terlalu macho. Piiirraaahhh!!
3. Who was he/she when you met him/her for the very first time?
Scholarmate. Setakat itu saja perhubungan kami. Bleh kata for the 1st year kitaorg kenal, tak pernah bertegur sapa. Tak sama klik la katakan.
4. How long did it take him/her to ask you out on a date?
Time belajar A level kat Malaysia, bleh katakan aku ngan En Rashid takde la interaction sangat. Kitaorang dah pi US baru start kenal. Kalau pikir2kan balik, aku pun tak ingat sapa yang approach sapa. Alih2 je kitaorang asyik berkepit pi mana2. Time tu ambik summer classes, satu je pun kelasnya. Jadi banyak masa la nak pi tengok wayang la, merewang pi factory outlets la.
5. The venue of your first date?
Oooo...Knoxville, kalau tak silap. Yang pasti kat situ tempat En Rashid ajak aku steady. Oh, kalau nak aku cite balik camne dia berpuisi, berpantun, berpidato mengajak aku menjadi teman wanitanya (muahahahah), itu dah jadi satu blog post yang lain dah.
6. How did he/she proposed?
Arghhh...kalau aku ingat balik cara En Rashid ajak aku kawin, mau aku nangis sepuloh baldi. Korang nak tau camne dia ajak aku kawin?!! His exact words..."Fine!! Kalau susah sangat, kita kawin je lah!!!"
Yerrr, tuan2 dan puan2. Dia ajak aku kawin time kitaorg tengah gaduh besar!! Takde flowers, takde "go down on one knee", takde candlelight dinner...yang ada bertekak, bergaduh dalam kete...last2 dia hantar aku balik, aku terus bagitau ibu aku...Rashid dah ajak kawin!!

Oooo, dah couple since 1996, banyak sangat la special datesnya. But I think yang aku paling suka dan teruja kalau ingat balik, ialah trip kitaorang pi Paris dulu. Sangat2 best dan romantik. Nak pergi lagiiii!!!

Jangan suka sangat merajuk. Tapi dah nama pun pompuan, tak sempurna la kalau tak merajuk sekali sekala. Tapi En Rashid tak suka sebab dia tak reti pujuk. Jadi bleh la jadi perang dingin berhari2 lamanya kalau aku merajuk dan mamat ni buat derrrkkkk jer.

Disebabkan En Rashid ni tak reti langsung nak tunjukkan PDA, bila sekali sekala dia sneek a kiss or belai aku in public, aku rasa terawang2 jer. See, bukan susah nak make aku happy, ok?? Aku bukan mintak berlian pelbagai. Tapi ngan anak2, En Rashid memang affectionate habis. Tak habis2 peluk, cium...aku suka tengok.
10. What would you like to change about him/her?
Bleh tak belajar bersin dengan perlahan sket?!! Bingit telinga orang tau bila En Rashid ni bersin, satu taman terkejut.

tinggalkan baju kotor merata dalam rumah. Berapa kali nak cakap..letak dalam bakul, letak dalam bakul, letak dalam bakul!! Kekadang tu dia letak ATAS bakul. Sabarrrr je lah.

hantar sms yang lovey dovey. Selalu dapat bila aku atau En Rashid outstation..ye la..jauh di mata, dekat di hati. Hehehe..tapi kena selalu outstation ke macam ni?

Mata & Gambar
Hari ni last aku MC. Dah seminggu lebih dah tak pi ofis. Kemungkinan aku akan ke tempat keje esok, walaupun mataku masih macam Keliwon lagi. Eh, Keliwon tu cite hantu kan? Tolong la, aku tak pernah tengok cite tu...tapi tajuk dia macam nama hantu je, aku agak la. Moral of the story, mataku masih merah menyala...ok la, macam Edward dalam cite Twilight tu.
Muahahahaha...nak ngaku jadi pontianak seksi gak tu.
Serba salah nak pi ofis ni sebenarnya. Keje memang la banyak, hari2 sms masuk hal keje. Dah check email, tapi banyak la keje yang perlukan face to face punya discussion. Dah la tengah sibuk sign off processes...aku lak menghilang dari ofis. Tapiiiiii, kalau aku pi esok, and then ada ofismate yang kena sakit mata...sapa yang salah? Aku kah...atau boss ku yang hari2 sms aku, buat aku serba salah tak masuk ofis? Soklan cepu emas.
Apa2 pun, aku hoping kalau aku pi ofis, takde la nyangkit penyakit ni kat sapa2. Buhsan woo sakit mata ni. Dah la annoying, asyik kena korek taik mata je keje. Bangun pagi, kena meraba pi toilet dulu, bersihkan taik mata yang berkerak. Mata nampak kelabu, asyik berair...giller sakit hati.
Tu la...agaknya aku ni asyik guna mata untuk pandang benda2 tak senonoh je kot..tu yang Allah tarik balik nikmat aku untuk melihat. Muahaaha..apa kebendanya benda tak senonoh tu? Aku pun tak tau...aku bukan peminat porno, setakat tengok MTV tu kot, tahap keseksian yang aku tengok. Mungkin la...takkan setakat tengok laki sendiri XXX pun takleh kot...dah laki aku..bukan tengok laki orang lain. Hmmm...tapi anak2 aku lak camne? Setakat tengok Playhouse je. Apalah, dah dugaan Allah bagi...lagi mau examine panjang lebar.
Takpe, habis dah cite sakit mata. Kita buat tag la plak. Mesti dah agak kan, sebab aku tulis entri ni dalam Bahasa Melayu. So nak buat tag le gamaknya.

Ni sapa kenal aku memang tau la tabiat aku yang sangat chocoholic. Tapi yang dark chocolate je, dairy milk aku kurang la..manis sangat. Hubby pun dah tau, kalau nak ambik hati aku, belikan je dark chocolate. Wajib aku sujud terus depan dia. Electrical & Electronic Engineering sebenarnya. Oya, campur Double Maths. Giller geek aku time college. Dah la susah nak maut...10 kali sesal aku ambik course tu. Tapi pikir2 balik, kalau aku tak ambik dulu, aku takkan jumpa ngan hubby. So in the end, ada la jugak hikmatnya.
Q.9 : MY BAD HABIT?
Ya, aku memang suka menangguh kalau buat keje. Dari zaman sekolah dulu, last minute baru nak buat homework, last minute baru nak baca buku. Dah tu time exam, pi sekolah terasa nak terkoncing manjang sebab takut. Nanti fail, kena balun ngan ayah. Paling tidak pun kena bebel ngan ibu. Tak tau la yang mana lagi seksa, kena balun ke, kena bebel. Kena balun memang sakit, tapi kejap je la. Tapi bebelan ibuku bukan sebarang bebelan. Berminggu2 pun bleh tahap bebelan dia. Dah tu, akan sampai ke semua suku sakat keluarga hal aku kena bebel. Dah takleh nak tunjuk muka time raya. Hampes sungguh. Tapi aku macam tak serik, masalah suka menangguh ni terbawak sampai dah beranak pinak, dah keje 10 tahun. Tu la sebabnya, tiap hari masuk keje je, aku kena spend 1/2 jam pikir dulu, buat senarai aku matlamat keje aku hari ni. Kalau tak, surfing YouTube je la keje aku nanti.
Q.10 : MY HOBBY?
Paham tak gambar kat atas. Jigsaw puzzle la. Memang aku minat tapi dah lama tak buat. Tapi aku still consider hobby la. Dulu masa kat US, aku selalu buat untuk hubby, yang gambar underwater sea tu. Hubby suka sebab ada gambar whale. Whale tu binatang favorite dia. Dulu, dia kata kalau kaya, dia nak bela whale. Serious je cite ngan aku. Aku pun layan, siap tambah, ok, aku nak bela polar bear. Bagus la, dua2 angan2 ntah hapa2.
Ye ah, ni memang harapan semua orang la kan. Nak keluarga dia happy, sihat. Yang lain tu semua material je, hal dunia. Lagipun macam sekarang, satu famili aku kena sakit mata, tak guna la ada seratus juta hinggit pun, kalau takleh nak nikmati.Kena tag 12 orang ke? Bukan semua orang dah buat? Memang tak sedar, alih2 dah ada moto kat sebelah, rentap beg tangan aku. Tertiarap aku kat jalan raya, sib baik beg murah (Avon), rantai beg putus, kalau tak..berbirat lak badan aku kena heret. Masa tu sayu je tengok mamat moto tu (2 orang) pantas bawak beg tangan aku. Dah la time tu aku baru kluarkan duit nak belikan hadiah kawin member...handphone baru beli...1/2 gaji pertama aku dalam beg tu. Sedih ya amat!! Curik dari blog Ila. Dia tak ajak buat pun, aku buat jugak.
1. Bekas kekasih saya adalah :
Mendiang River Phoenix…bleh? Wakakaka..perasan la beb. Actually Along nak ngaku hal bekas kekasih ni, payah sket. Sebab tak pernah ada kekasih sebelum hubby. Wah…begitu “perempuan melayu terakhir”kah aku? Oh bukan. Tidak sama sekali. Cuma banyak kes aku berchintan, either aku yang tergila ngan mamat tu or mamat tu yang tergila ngan aku. Takde yang betul2 serasi hinggalah berjumpa mamat bernama R@*^!& K$^&*.
2. Saya sedang mendengar :
Ofismate tengah salam2 semua orang sebab arini last day dia kat sini. Member ikut laki pi belajar kat Jepun. Sesungguhnya aku amat jeles!! Awat la laki aku maleh nak sambung belajar ni? Bleh aku pi ikut, jadi house wife, shopping je keje…wakakaka..lagi satu kes perasan.
3. Mungkin saya patut:
Pi solat zohor dah. Dah kul 3.30pm, tak solat lagi! Sia2 je aku posa kalau solat hujung waktu…takpe, habiskan tag ni dulu.
4. Saya suka :
mendengar celoteh anak2. Memang kekadang tak terlayan tapi semestinya terhibur.
5.Sahabat-sahabat baik saya :
Memang tak ramai tapi yang ada tu…memang kamcing habis!! I love you guys!!
6.Saya tak paham :
Macamana orang macam Paris Hilton tu bleh laku? Padahal dia langsung takde talent, nak kata lawa pun tak sangat.

Keupayaan untuk membeli kereta baru dengan cash. Kalau piker lelama, memang bleh nangis…so takmo piker lagi.
8.Ramai yang berkata :
Aku dapat keje aku sekarang ni sebab ayah aku. Itu dulu la, memang sakit telinga dengar sup sap suap sap orang dok ngata. Masa tu aku memula start keje, pressure ya amat. Ni ayah aku pun dah lama pencen. Aku harap aku dah buktikan pada orang yang aku dapat keje ni atas kemampuan aku sendiri.

Kalau tak silap, maksudnya awal. Apa yang awal aku pun tak sure. Kalau pi keje tu, lambat lagi ada la…kalau bab orang belanja makan je aku bleh awal. Hehehe..

11.Di suatu tempat, seseorang sedang :
tengah best bawak anak2 pi tengok wayang cite Up. Padahal bini dia tengah pulun kat tempat keje. Eh, bukan pulun..update blog. Ok la, pulun update blog. Apesal bini dia keje padahal si suami tidak? Sebab bos bini dia cuti dan sepatutnya ada meeting yang kena pi. Sekali dapat tau meeting tu cancel. Haru hati si bini…kalau tak, bleh dia layan cite Up tu sekali.
12.Saya akan cuba :
untuk melihat setiap hari sebagai peluang untuk memperbaiki nasib diriku, keluargaku dan negaraku. Pergh….1Malaysia habis. Sket2 kelakar lak bunyi dia.

kasih saying seorang ibu pada anak2nya. Unconditional love.
14.Telefon bimbit saya :
pakai hubby punya yang lama. Akunya apesal buat hal, takmo charge. Asyik2 tertera “unable to charge” kat skrin. Sib baik bulan Ramadhan, kalau tak dah lama aku lambungkan phone tu ke dinding.
15.Bila saya terjaga dari tidur :
mesti berkata2 pada diri sendiri…”5 minit je lagi, 5 minit je lagi”. Dan-dan dah sejam sambung tido.
16.Saya paling meluat apabila :
nampak orang buang sampah merata2, orang bawak kereta macam jalan tu bapak dia yang punya, mendengar cakap orang2 politik ni yang banyak munasarawak dari munasabah.
17.Pesta/Parti adalah :
Masa untuk berkumpul dengan kawan2 lama. Selalu bikin kat rumah aku sebab rumah aku ada bibik. Hahaha…saja je depa ni, tapi takpe, aku pun suka member2 bertandang ke rumah. Rasa meriah je. Tapi sekali sekala la…aku bukan rajin nak mop lantai hari2 pun.
18.Haiwan yang paling comel yang saya pernah temui ialah :
Kucing parsi asli kat rumah jiran. Pergh, bangsa letak tangan atas badan dia terus tenggelam. Punyala lebat bulu dia. Dah tu manja lak tu. Asyik2 nak gesel2 kat kaki orang. Sib baik ko kucing, kalau manusia, dah lama kena humban dalam van pencegah maksiat.
19.Peringkat umur yang paling menyeronokkan bagi saya ialah :
20-24. Time tu kat US. Walaupun tensen ngan study tapi seronok bila time cuti. Berjalan sakan.
20.Hari ini :
Menumpang ofismate ke tempat keje. Sib baik dia pi keje, kalau tak aku kena naik komuter. Uwek, malehnya nak bersesak2. Dah la ngan H1N1 ni….hmmm, lagila maleh. Balik nanti maybe tumpang kawan yang lain lak. Tengok camne hubby nak ambik kat mana nanti.
21.Malam ini saya akan :
tido awal. Ngantuk wei, semalam bleh lak aku layan Ace Ventura sampai kul 1am. Gelak sorang2 kat hall tu. Pagi tadi dah menyesal…ngantuk ya amat!!
22.Esok pula saya akan :
Pi keje ngan hubby. Cuba untuk balik awal.
23.Saya betul-betul inginkan :
sebuah mpv yang besar tapi still sporty, yang tak berapa mahal, senang nak maintain, paling best kalau ada orang bagi free, or aku menang contest ke. Masalahnya aku memang maleh masuk contest ni, tapi lepas tu jaki tengok orang lain menang. Camne??!!

Pusat membeli belah, walaupun aku tak berapa gemar shopping sebenarnya. Aku ni jenis kalau nak beli baju ke, seluar ke..kena 10 kali test, compare baru beli. Kekadang tu tak beli langsung. Selalu amalkan “buy what you need, not what you want’. Masalahnya ibu aku dok bebel sebab aku pakai baju 15 tahun ke tempat keje. Asalkan tak koyak nampak spender, lantak la yerk..

Barat. Apa kes makan benda mentah? Tak dapat ditelan dek tekak.

Sesuatu yang aku dah boikot sejak kempen boikot start awal tahun aritu. Bleh pun idup tak pi makan kat McD dan yang sewaktu dengannya. Bagus…anak2 aku pun dah pandai untuk tidak meminta. Kalau tak, pantang nampak signboard M bagak tu je, terjerit2 nak fries. Padahal kat rumah tu sepeket besar abah depa dah belikan, sikit tak hingin.

Holy crap, I'm 33. Is that old? I don't feel that old. The other day, 2 of my dear friends from primary school came to visit and we got talking about the good old days. Then we talked about how we had changed and how we had grown (old). Zu, so far, my memory is still intact...hahaha...but I can feel the years in the body sometimes.

King size. Hahaha...if there was a super king sized bed, hubby would have bought that. But then we would have to custom make all our sheets and comforters. Satu hal la plak..macam banyak duit.

Mom Awards
Thank you to Fizi and Kak Dilla for the Mommy Awards. Sorry I haven't done the tags yet; these blog tags need the right mindset in order to do them.
However since Daria is asleep (finally!), I'll do Fizi's blog tag since it's shorter. Heee, jangan marah ah Kak Dilla, I'll do yours soon enough.

1. Admit one thing you feel awful about (involving being a mom). Once you have written it down, you are no longer allowed to feel bad. Remember you are a good mom!
I don't do enough of the mundane stuff a mom should do for their kids. You know, stuff like cooking for them, bathing them, etc. I know, I shouldn't feel bad because I work full time. Plus I hire a full-time maid to help me with this. And the time I do get to spend with them, I try to do more fun stuff.
2. List 7 things you love about your kids, you love doing with your kids, or that your kids love about you.
i love...
- listening to them read story books, tell me about their day at school, etc.
- watching them play dress up, dance around or quietly do their coloring.
- taking them on family trips and then hearing them talk about the trip for days on end (a sign they had a great time).
- taking them shopping and buying them cute outfits
- the way they kiss and hug me everytime they leave the house to go to school and greet me everytime they come back (or when hubby and I come back from work)
- the way they smell and the way they like to snuggle up to me on the sofa to watch TV.
- the way they show how much they love me with cards and hugs and kisses and laughter.

Personality Test
I took this self exam after reading about it at JAD's blog. Although I don't believe much in online self exams, I do think some tend to make you sit back and think about yourself and important stuff going on.

I know this to be true. I'm the type that doesn't side a person just because he/she is my friend. I can recall many a times when I've been asked to be the "referee" by two disagreeing parties. This is so true. I knew I wanted to marry hubby because I was ready for a serious relationship, it was the right time and because he was the right person for me.

I don't know about this one. I've had girlfriends tell this about me, the fact that I like to flirt sometimes but I must be doing it subconsciously. Like I said, when I chose hubby, it was a serious decision. There was no beating around the bush or anything. It was either we get married or not be together at all.

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
I wish this would still apply now. I would really like to further my studies and do my Masters but right now, other things seem to take precedent. Maybe when the kids are older, I'll reconsider.

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
Stability is very important for me. I don't have to live the life of the Rich and Famous. I'm content with having a modest roof over my head and enough food on the table.

This used to be true. The old me would die if I found out anyone didn't like me or hated me. It would bug me to no end. Nowadays, I've learned that you can't please everybody. The only people that matter are yourself and the people you love.

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

16 Things You May Or May Not Know About Me
Apit tagged with this a few days back and since I’m out of ideas on what to write about now, I thought I would do this blog tag instead. This may or may not bore some people, (hah!) and the stuff that I write are in no particular order what so ever.
Directions: Once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a blog/Facebook note with 16 random things, facts, habits or goals about you. At the end choose 16 people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them. Don’t forget to leave them a comment or tag them in your note to read this.
1. I am my parents’ only daughter and I love it. When my mom was expecting her 4th child, I prayed for it to be a boy. I never wanted a sister. I guess in my own way, I wanted to be special.
2. By a weird twist of fate, I married a man who was the only son in his family therefore I gained 3 “sisters”. Sometimes I don’t know how to communicate with them. Sister bonding is not something I’m good at.
3. Having said that I do have dear friends that I would consider sisters. We share nearly everything (except “bedroom” stuff, if you know what I mean).
4. My favorite color is blue. Most of my clothes are in this shade of color. For my wedding day, of course the color chosen was blue.
5. My left eye is smaller than my right eye which is noticeable especially in photos. Dina inherits this flaw from me.
6. I’ve done skydiving but never bungee jumping. I don’t like bungee jumping because of the down-up-down-up situation. Makes me wheezy even thinking about it. I’m ok with skydiving because you only fall once. Plus the view is so much better.
7. My favorite animal in the whole wide world are polar bears. There’s just something about them that make me want to hug them and sleep up against their fur. My least favorite animal are dogs. Even cute ones wearing cheerleader uniforms or whatever clothes their owners make them wear.
8. I drink milk but not soya milk. However I eat tau fu fa and tempe which are essentially made from soya beans.
9. When I was small, my family lived in the UK. We stayed in a very nice city called Sheffield. I still have vivid memories of the place especially the time I got to meet the late Lady Diana when she had just gotten married. I was selected to be the girl to give her flowers when she came to visit my school. Other than my mom, I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world.
10. Eventhough I have 2 kids already with a third on the way, there are times that I still can’t believe I’m a mom. A part of me feels so insecure or maybe undeserving, I don’t know which. When I see my girls sleeping in their beds at night, sometimes I have to pinch myself to remind me that it’s not a dream.
11. I use my handphone for calls and smses only. I hardly know how to use MMS or GPRS or Bluetooth or even the MP3 player. This is coming from someone that works in the telecommunication industry. Hah! Having said that, I never have the need or urge to splurge on super expensive phones or gadgets.
12. My favorite subject in school was Maths. My least favorite was History eventhough I had a superb history teacher. It totally wasn’t her fault I almost failed the subject, I’m just really bad at remembering dates and names.
13. I love watching horror movies though I spook myself out with my insane imagination for like 3 weeks after watching. I imagine ghosts sneaking up behind me. I imagine ghosts looking at me through my mirror. I imagine ghosts clinging to the ceiling, waiting to pounce on me as I walk by. Yeah, I don’t know why I still watch horror movies.
14. Starting year end, I want our family to do more traveling. I want my kids to see the world. I don’t mind saving up and spending money on this. I think life experience is so much better than material things.
15. I used to dream of driving an MPV but after the fuel hike and other stuff, I think a small car is best when you’re living and working in the city.
16. I’m stuck on this last one…..hmmm…..ok, I love dark chocolate. The darker the better. Naturally I hate white chocolate….too sweet.
There you have it. 16 interesting or not-so-interesting facts about me. That took some serious thinking and I’m getting hungrier by the minute. Further Proof Of How Unspectacular I Am

1. I can't stand/eat instant noodles. Even if I eat it accidentally (what? it's happened before), I immediately throw up. I think this is due to the fact that when I was growing up, my parents were really poor. Everyday before going to work, my dad would give my mom 50 cents (or less to buy food. The cheapest thing around back then (and even now I think) was instant noodles. You know, Maggee Mee. Everyday my mom would feed me that while she ate sugar cane. Yes, sugar cane. So now, all that ajinomoto has caused me to become sensitive to even the smell of instant noodles.
2. I wear clothes that I've had since my school days. To work. These are clothes that are 16 years old. They're not even torn so I always tell myself why spend money on clothes when I have lots that still fit. My mom nags me about this all the time. She thinks I shouldn't wear clothes that are so outdated. Daaahh! Nobody's hassled me about it at work but my officemates do notice it when I wear something new.
3. I don't like wearing jewellery. The only ones I wear are my wedding ring, my anniversary ring, my very thin anniversary necklace (which I never take off) and my tiny earrings. I don't wear bracelets or bangles. I don't have any other rings and the only other necklace I have is something my mom passed down to me, which I wear only for functions and during raya. I would hardly even spend money to buy jewellery for myself. Yet another thing my mom bugs me about.
4. I don't like to cook (hate is too strong a word because sometimes when I'm in the mood, I can cook up a storm) but I love to bake. During my Uni days, my idea of getting rid of stress would be to bake a cake. Any cake, it didn't matter. Then I would call the guys to help eat it.
5. I love travelling but I hate the journey getting there. It's not so bad when we're travelling by car (flat butt syndrome) but it's pretty bad when we have to fly somewhere. When you've seen one cloud, you've seen them all. This is probably one reason why I'll never set foot in the USA again (other than since 9-11, it's really hard getting a visa) coz I would just go crazy, sitting in a plane for 30 hours or so. I'll go maybe when they've invented the teleport machine. Travel in 2 seconds or less.
6. I get bored easily. I'm already bored doing this meme. Hehe. It takes a lot to maintain my interest in anything, which is why hubby is such an extraordinary guy. Hah!!

Arte Y Pico
I need to select 5 other blogs who I deem worthy of the award. Which on one hand is not that tough because there's a lot ..I mean, A LOT of worthier blogs than mine. But on the other hand, is actually rather tough, because I only get to name 5 and risk the wrath of others who I do not mention. If it were possible, I would submit KelticKaos's name again but then that would just turn into somewhat like a tennis rally and just confuse people (or only me).
So here goes, my choices for the Arte Y Pico Award.
1. Basa Basi Nano Nano -Famil cracks me up. Usually with his paparazzi-styled handphone taken photos and also with his cooking skills, that sometimes puts me to shame. A friend of mine also mentioned that he's kind of cute but believe me, I'm not going to be the one telling him THAT!!
2. Casa Arina - I like Anamiraa because she tells it like it is. And a lot of her posts I can relate to.
3. Crash Test Mommy - There's a big chance that Jenny's already been given this award by someone else because she has a league of faithful readers. But I like her blog..no, I LOVE her blog so I'm taking my chances and hope I ruffle her feathers with this. Also, she takes time to personally email me responses to my comments. PERSONAL EMAILS!! How lovey-dovey is that?
4. Moby's Musing - Moby is my virtual pal from Singapore. He has 3 kids, all below the age of 5 and yet he still has time to update his blog(s) everyday. I wonder where he finds the time/energy.
5. The Simple Dollar - I love Trent and his no nonsense finance blog because he makes me feel like I can take control of my finances. Other words, my life too. The way he writes simplifies all those money mumbo jumbo for me. It was partly because of his advice, I took the leap of opening up IREE Touch with Ida. If that isn't having a great impact on someone's life, I dunno what is.

The Meaning of Dania and Dina
I took this tag from Moby.
Hubby was the one who chose the names for the girls. We had an understanding; hubby would choose the names for our daughters and I would choose the names for our sons. I don't remember why or how we came to an understanding on the matter but there you have it. As a result, our daughters are named Dania Jazmin and Dina Yasmin.
Hubby first fell in love with the name Dania when he was flipping through a baby's name book in PKNS, Shah Alam. It was then he decided that all our children's names would start with the letter D. Why? Don't ask me but it sounded like a nice idea at first until we found out that there aren't a lot of Muslim names that start with the letter D. Not unless you wanna count Doremon or Dinosaur. Which doesn't sound very Muslim-like to begin with. Heee.
Dania means "God is my Judge" or "Closer to God", depending on which online site or book you're referring to. Jazmin refers to a flower, usually written as Jasmine. When you combine the two names, it probably doesn't make sense but everyone loves Dania's name. My MIL had doubts about it being a Muslim name but we assured her we weren't going down the road to name our kids Apple or Chandelier or any other inhuman object.
When we found out I was expecting a second daughter, hubby immediate announced that he would name her Dina Yasmin. Dina means "Judged" or "Justified". Yasmin basically has the same meaning as Jazmin; flower. So we have two "flowers" in the house. :D
I can't imagine what name we would choose if we had another girl. Names that I found online:
Daffodil - another flower?! Plus I can't imagine myself screaming "DAFFODIL!!!" in the middle of Tesco with a straight face.
Dagmar - sounds like Dogma, which brings Ben demon-worshipping Affleck to mind. Pass!!!
Dahlia - yet another flower. Plus it sounds to close to Dania.
Dakota - Too American.
Dolly - like Parton? Hahahahaa...
Durriyah - nice but I have trouble pronouncing the letter "R". Heheheh, sket2 pelat le gitu. It has a nice meaning though - shines brightly.
I already know what to name my sons (if we ever have any, Amiiiinnnn). But I'm not telling. :D.

OK, my last few posts have been categorised as "downers" so today I'm changing the mood. Being stuck at home, I don't have much to blog happily about (other than the kids) so I'm taking the easy route and doing this blog tag Halwafy gave me.

Layer One: On the Outside
Name: Along. Not my real name but I've been called this since I was born (my parents were sure I wasn't going to be the only child). Even my classmates, teachers, officemates and bosses know me by this name. Sometimes when people call me by my real name, I buat dunno. Terforgot. Hahahaha...
Birthdate: 15th May, 1976. Taurus, don't mess with me, I'll ram you with my horns. Hahaha..
Current status: Married with two daughters.
Eye color: Dark brown
Hair Color: Black, with some stray white hairs in between. Arghh, getting old!!

Layer Two: On the Inside
My heritage: Pure Malay, which a lot of people don't believe. They always ask if either of my parents are Arab or from the Middle East. My dad's side has some Bugis blood (explains my "hot blood temper", hehe) and my mom's Minangkabau + Mainland China. So I really don't see where this Middle East thing comes from.
My fears: Anything bad happening to my family.
My Weaknesses: Too many to list down. I know I have a long way to go to become a perfect wife, mother and muslim.
My perfect pizza: Papa John. What kept me alive during my Uni years. Luurrvvveee the sauce!!
Layer Three: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
My thoughts first thing when I wake up: Nowadays, it's "has hubby and Kaklong gone to work/school yet?" Previously it was, "cuti ke arini?"
My bedtime: I'm an owl. I can stay up with a good book until 2-3am. Hubby always goes to bed earlier than I do (unless I'm sick).
My most missed memory: My Uni years. As stressful as they could get, I just loved travelling during the holidays. I miss those days!!
Layer Four: My picks
Pepsi or Coke: Coke. Especially Vanilla Coke.
Mc Donald's or Burger King: Whichever my kids feel like eating at. I really don't have any preferences.
Single or Group Dates: Group dates in the beginning. If I like the guy enough, then it's on to single dates.
Adidas or Nike: Whichever is cheaper and more comfortable to wear. I am not a brand whore, unlike my brothers!!!
Tea or Nestea: Tea - ask my colleagues. I always order hot lemon tea when we eat out for lunch.
Chocolate or Vanilla: Chocolate. The darker the better.
Cappuccino or Coffee: Coffee (and the likes) gives me constipation. So, nada.

Smoke: Used to (I was young and stupid). But quit cold turkey after my aunt caught me and threatened to tell my parents.
Curse: Hell yeah. I've laid off swearing quite a bit since I became a mother but once in a while, some foul word will escape my lips.
Take a shower: Yeah, my bathrooms are micromini that a bathtub can't fit.
Have a crush: I love Edward Norton!!!
Think I've Been In love: I wouldn't have married hubby if I wasn't madly in love with him. So, yes.
Go to school: No. Thank god. Hahaha.
Want to get married: Over and done with.
Believe in myself: Yes, to a point, but not enough to make some drastic changes in my life that I really want to.
Think I'm a health freak: Not really but I'm working on that. After confinement, TAEBO, here I come again!!

Gone to the mall: No!!! Having been in 2 months.

Eaten Sushi: Am not a big fan. Would eat it if someone belanja me, but I wouldn't spend my own money to buy it.

Played a stripping game: Oh my god. I confess, YES!! Actually it was Strip Uno (don't laugh) and of course I played it with hubby. Will not reveal who is the Ultimate Champion. Hahaha..
Changed who I am to fit in: I tend to be sensitive to other people so while I'm usually a bit loud and fouled mouth with close friends, I mellow down with people I've just met or are not accustomed to such "wildness". So I still be myself, just the mellow kind.

1 hour ago: Playing Play-Doh with the girls.
4.5 hours ago: Watching Oprah reruns.
1 month ago: I think I was either sick at home, or sick in the hospital.

I love: hubby and my girls.
I feel: bored at the moment. Yet dreading the day I have to go back to work.

I hide: my sadness from hubby. He doesn't know this, but since....I've cried myself to sleep nearly every night.
I need: to take care of my health better. I intend to be there for my kids and their kids too (and their kids too, Insya'allah).
