The heart wants to but the mind cautions me that I may not be able to handle the load.
The support is there from hubby but I still need to inform the bosses and acknowledge that sacrifices will need to be made.
The deadline draws closer...only 15 more days to go.
Should I? Shouldn't I?

Coming Soon...Is Subjective
Just because the PROJECT has launched, doesn't mean things have slowed down at work. Arghhh, if anything, things are picking up speed again, now that lots of customer's "feedback" have started coming in.
Sabar Long, sabar.....
I owe so many posts, all half done. I'll try to get some up within this week. About Genting, about Dania's prize giving ceremony and other stuff that's been going on at Casa Along.
Till then, be good people.

Please, Abah
Thanks to the PROJECT, hubby has been coming home from work really late these past weeks. The girls have grumbled, Dania more than usual. Yesterday morning, as I was tidying up their bedroom, I found this note under Dania's pillow. "Abah boleh tak tidur dekat sini. Tolonglah Abah kak long sayangkan Abah dengan Kak long taknak tinggalkan Abah. Bolehlah Abah, KakLong tadi dah nangis ni. Bolehlah Abah. Bye. Goodnight. Sayang sangat, manja sangat, see you tomorrow, I love you."
Sayu tak baca nota anak aku ni?
Translation: "Abah, can you please sleep here. Please Abah, I love you and don't want to leave you. Please Abah, I have already cried just now. Please Abah. Bye. Goodnight. Love you so much, see you tomorrow, I love you."
I have yet to show hubby the note (he came home late again yesterday). Poor Dania, she must really miss her Abah so much. Here's hoping to no more late nights from either of us (though that might be wishful thinking...*sigh*)

We went back to my in-laws last weekend since my cousin was getting engaged. This is my cousin, the doctor, the gal who was supposedly single a few months back.

2010 All England Badminton - Congrats Dato' LCW!!
Lambat tak aku ngan berita ni?!
I had planned to watch the final but due to other commitments, had missed it. Damn!! Good thing I can catch it on Utube but still I love watching badminton live. The tension!! The suspense!!
Congrats to Dato' Lee Choong Wei for winning the men's singles. It sure was entertaining to watch, especially seeing how he clawed his way back from behind. Pure mental power!! But you have to give kudos also to that Japanese chap, Kenichi Tago. He's still young (21) so if he plays his cards (or shuttlecocks..hehe) right, he'll be #1 in no time.
It's great that Dato' LCW won but still, the fact that the last shot was out...puts a little damper on the celebration. I agree that, at an angle, it would have been hard to see exactly where the shuttlecock fell, and the linesman is only human.
But who cares!! Hah! Malaysia won!!
Here's looking forward to the Thomas Cup this May. Must go!!
ps: Have to comment on the Malaysian team T-shirt. Can't find a picture of it but it looks cool in a funny way. One side with sleeves; one side without. Bagi nampak muscle skeeetttt!!!

Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart
This is my favorite song of the month. I've been listening to it again and again. The video clip is awesome too; AK looks hot!! And the storyline is so tragic. I think my favorite color is purple now.
********************************************
Even if you were a million miles away
I could still feel you in my bed
Near me, touch me, feel me
And even in the bottom of the sea
I can still hear inside my head
Telling me, touch me, feel me
And all the time you were telling me lies
So tonight I’m gonna find a way to make it without you
Tonight I’m gonna find a way to make it without you
I’m gonna hold onto the times that we had
Tonight I’m gonna find a way to make it without you
Have you ever tried sleeping with a broken heart
Well you can try sleeping in my bed
Lonely, only, nobody ever shut it down like you
You wore the crown, you make my body feel heaven-bound
Why don’t you hold me, need me,
I thought you told me You’d never leave me
Looking in the sky I can see your face
And I knew right where I’d fit in
Take me, make me
You know that I’ll always be in love with you
Right til the end
So tonight I’m gonna find a way to make it without you
Tonight I’m gonna find a way to make it without you
I’m gonna hold onto the times that we had
Tonight I’m gonna find a way to make it without you
Anybody could have told you right from the start
It’s bout fall apart
So rather than hold onto a broken dream
Or just hold onto love
And I could find a way to make it
Don’t hold on too tight
I’ll make it without you tonight
So tonight I’m gonna find a way to make it without you
Tonight I’m gonna find a way to make it without you
I’m gonna hold onto the times that we had
Tonight I’m gonna find a way to make it without you

Where I Try To Make Things Work For Me
I’ve been working from the nearer office this week because a) I rock and I can work from wherever I want to, so THERE!! b) I actually asked permission from my boss and she said OK, so she ROCKS even harder than me c) Hubby has stated that this week, he’ll be staying back in the office everyday until 10-11pm so it’s separate cars driving to the office.
It’s such a pain driving alone to the office because a) the traffic jam b) the expensive parking (yes!! We need to pay for parking at the office…everyday (unless of course you come at 7.30am but then who does that!! Oh…the OTHER 80% of employees at the COMPANY…alright, moving on).
Anyway, because of all these reasons I’ve neatly organized above (I’m organized!), I’m trying to get out from driving to my actual office this week. Which worked yesterday and today but won’t tomorrow since I HAVE to be at the lab tomorrow but I’m going to try and not be such a huge biyatch (or a bigger biyatch than I normally am) and hopefully it will be a short session and I can go home on time. My brother has agreed to take the girls out to watch Alice in 3D tomorrow night and Bibik has expressed her desire to sleep at my mom’s house tomorrow night so seeing how early I get off from work and also in what particular mood, I may be driving the kids to MV for the movie then heading off to my mom’s house for one night.
I plan to have Thursday off because I promised the girls just one day off to take them out during this school holidays and believe me, taking a day off during this hectic season is causing me to feel some guilt but the fact that I worked for 3 weekends last month trumps that so..yeah. No actual plans on what to do, I might just end up taking them to KLCC so Bibik can take photos and pose like the Maybelline modal she isn’t.
That leaves Friday, where I intend to make hubby carpool with me to work. He won’t want to stay back late at the office because this weekend is when we head down to his hometown and because he is such a momma’s boy, we need to be at his mom’s house before midnight.
Oya, add to the fact that I’m having my period (yes, you can thank me later for sharing), I’m in no mood for driving and walking where unnecessary. I’m at that point where even turning my head to the right quickly causing the *hack* blood to flow like the River Nile, so yeah….not a big fan of moving about right now.
So, due to that note, I’m skipping lunch today (oh don’t worry, the guys will get me some food…I’m not going to starve!) and going to watch reruns of SYTYCD on Utube. This is one of the shows I watch with the girls (other than Wipeout…what?!! It’s hilarious!) and I just love it. I love Cat Deeley and the judges (yes, even shrieking Mary Murphy). I love the dances, even the really bad ones. No, make that ESPECIALLY the really bad ones. Plus, at the end of the show, the girls put on a performance of their own so it’s like a whole rerun without having to listen to the screaming/booing audience. Marvelous!

Whatever This Post Is About...
I have so much to write about but I can’t find the energy or right mood. My post about our Genting trip is half done. So is the post about my late grandmother. I think I need pictures for that one.
So far, the only thing I can write about is work, which is so….blearghhh!! It’s gotten so hectic that even the simplest things are NOT WORKING anymore. I don’t know whether to scream or just laugh myself crazy.
Oya, my Medela Harmony breastpump is still available for sale. Someone called me and said they wanted to buy it but somehow haven’t called me back with the details. In the meantime, I had told other interested buyers that it was off the market. Sigh…I guess its back on the market. This time, whoever pays up first gets to have the item. Sorry, no more booking allowed.
Thinking of going to see Alice In Wonderland 3D this week but hubby is swamped with work until the PROJECT launch (and I’m not?..*raised eyebrows*). I might go alone if I get bored enough.
Oya, need to jot this down. Last Saturday Daria took 5 steps forward before plunking down on her chubby bum!! She’s walking!! And she’s not even 10 months yet. Bravo..bravo, little girl. You make all of us proud. Too bad your mom was too busy encouraging you to take any videos of this historical event.

Bravo SMS Muar!!
Eventhough it has been several years since I've been at my old school, it still makes me mighty proud to see it listed as one of the top 10 schools with the best results for last year's SPM.
Syabas, SMS Muar!! You make us proud!!

Why Are Our Children No Longer Safe?
It turned my stomach to read the newspaper headlines this morning. What on earth is the world coming to?
Can you imagine getting beaten on the head with a hammer? Even a grown man would cry and throw up, what more a 6 year old child.
I can't imagine if this happened to any of my girls. Mau meraung sebulan. My heart goes out to the children, teachers and parents involved. Here's hoping this lunatic is quickly captured and locked away for good.

AA Sucks..But I'm Too Poor To Choose Anyone Else
So it’s official. Our trip to Hong Kong is now ON!! Flight tickets have been booked and paid for (thus no backing out unless you wanna be RM700 poorer for no reason).
The posse was pleased that the original plan of going to HK was back on. I, for one, did not particularly care where we went, as long as it was fun and memorable for the kids. Because I am such a super mom. I could be freezing my big, fat ass off but if my kids wanna roll around naked in the snow, then we’re going somewhere cold. I could hate that stupid mouse with all my heart but if Dina wants to give “my mikkie!!” a big hug, then we’re going to Disneyland!
We’re going on AA since they’re tickets were the cheapest. MAS came in a close second but considering my aunt has 5 people in her entourage, every single ringgit saved adds up.
HOWEVER, one thing I hated about AA was the fact they had a lot of hidden charges.
Pay more for baggage? Check!
Pay more for using a credit card? Check!
Pay more for selecting a seat? Check!
Pay more for meals? Check!
Pay more for travel insurance? Check!
In the end, those pesky charges really add up. I think out of all of them, my biggest peeve would be the “convenience fee” for allowing us to use a credit card as a payment method.
WTH???!!!
It’s a double edge sword; if you don’t want to pay this “convenience fee”, you can buy tickets over the counter BUT you won’t be getting the “better” internet rates. Grrrrrr….
And it’s a lot, you know, this “convenience fee”. RM5 PER PERSON PER WAY!!
I would understand if it was PER TRANSACTION, but to charge according to the number of people…is outrageous!! I hardly see how this “conveniences” me in any way.
Grrrrrrr..!!!
OK, OK, breathe in, breathe out. It’s done…let’s just enjoy the trip to come. Time to relook at my budget and plan the itinerary.

Solomon Kane - Review
Alert: This post may contain spoilers about the movie. Oh, who am I kidding..I’m going to be telling you everything I can remember so if you want to watch this movie and still be surprised, do not read this post. You have been warned!
While we were at Genting, we took some time to family bond over a movie. Initially we wanted to see Alice but it wasn’t shown in 3D, so Angah opted for us to watch Solomon Kane instead.
Now, don’t ask me about the book; there is no book. The dude (Solomon Kane) is a comic book character and those who know me, know I don’t do comics.
OK, before I begin, just let me say this. I had no idea what the movie was about but I was thinking it was probably dark coz the poster showed this figure of a looming man, complete with wide brimmed hat and sinister looks. However, I did not expect to be exposed to one of my greatest fear……
ZOMBIES!!!
Freaking zombies!! Oh my feeble heart cannot take zombies, especially if they’re super hungry and super fast and super strong and super intent on ripping out and feeding on human flesh. I freaked out watching I Am Legend (yes, I know, the whole movie is centered on zombies but I didn’t know that when I walked into the cinema) so naturally those scenes with the zombies found me clutching hubby’s arm, closing my eyes and whispering “damn, freaking zombies, damn, freaking zombies” again and again.
Ok, so now I’ve got my grouse about the zombies out of the way, let’s talk more about the movie. The main character is played by James Purefoy, who I’ve never heard of. Apparently he was in A Knight’s Tale and Resident Evil but I can’t recall seeing him. As the anti-hero Solomon Kane (SK), he was very good at delivering the emotions the character went through from arrogance, fear, helplessness, anger and so on. Sure, the dialog was a little monotonous but I’m glad they didn’t squeeze in any one-liners coz that would have totally killed the seriousness of the movie.
The cinema hall was freaking cold so it didn’t help that in nearly all the scenes, it was either raining or snowing. The movie must have some hefty dry cleaning bills!! The only scenes that would be considered “beautiful” was when SK was on his journey back home, walking amongst forests, hills and mountain sides.
The supporting characters were rather good, especially the family of puritans travelling to the New World. Max von Sydow who plays SK’s father also stole the limelight in his short scenes. The villain on the other hand was rather….lame. Claiming to be so powerful, it only took a single bullet for SK to kill him. Plus the CGI demon in the end…yeah, could have done without that.
The storyline is heavy not only with Christianity themes but also wizardry and demons. Oya, other than freaking demons, they also had a freaking witch but this was no ordinary witch. No, this biyatch could camouflage herself as an unassuming little girl and then turn into an ugly old woman, who can fly without needing a broomstick and mark you with her fingernails. Creepy!
Yep, this movie was rather creepy, in my opinion. There were some cheap thrills but overall, the scares were very good. Especially the opening scene where SK’s men get eaten by mirror demons. Hmmm, you’ll just have to watch the movie to find out what I mean. Oya, and the ZOMBIE part. *Shudder*.
Would I recommend you to watch this? Well, seeing how it wasn’t really my cup of tea, plus it had freaking ZOMBIES in it, I can’t say I would watch it again. They could have done with a better villain plus the end of the movie felt as if the director just ran out of steam (or money). If you’re into medieval period movies or stuff like Highlander, then maybe this is the movie for you. But if you’re a pure chick flick type of person, stay away from this movie. You might get ZOMBIE nightmares like I do.

It Was Not Relaxing...I Can Tell You That Much.
Annndddd we're back from Genting. 10 adults, 2 children and 1 infant.
Now everyone has the flu and is coughing like mad (including Daria....:( ) but boy, did we have fun! I have the bruises and aches to prove it.
More on the trip plus photos coming up in later posts. Right now, I need to drag my ass down to the clinic for some medication.

Genting...Here We Come!
Yeah...kecoh as if want to go to London only! Hehehehe...
Getting my stuff ready for the trip. Mom and dad came by for lunch and then took Daria and Bibik with them to Genting first. Bibik was sooo excited!! Hopefully she doesn't throw up on the way up there. That would certainly get the holiday to a "great" start!
We're waiting for Dania to finish school then we'll be heading up as well. My brothers will be coming in another car. My mom bought ration enough to feed an army for a month!! Seriously! The whole boot of the car was packed with food. If anyone says they're hungry when we're up there, my mom is going to lose it. Hah!
Well, have to make sure all the lights and fans have been switched off. I'm not feeling so hot, hope I'm not coming down with anything. It would suck to have this rare time off and be sick!

Away For A Few Days
Tomorrow I'm on leave. Wuhooo!! Such a joyous occasion eventhough I have nothing particularly planned. However after working 3 weekends straight, my boss was kind enough to let me go for one day.
Pancit wei..keje non stop.
We do have a Genting trip this weekend so I'll blog about about that when we come back.
Also my grandma on my father's side passed away last Sunday I have much to write about her and the funeral so I'll put that as pending until I have the time and energy.
Until then, have fun kids. Be good!!

Testing My Patience
Aku benci...benci...benci vendor yang aku kena keje ngan untuk PROJECT ni.

Aku buat testing...kalau ko dah tak menepati kemahuan aku, sah2 la aku failkan ko. Ko nak soh aku letak partial pass kenapa?!! Bukan aku tak bagi can untuk ko betulkan.
Lepas tu ko bleh kutuk aku dalam mandrin depan2 aku. Ko ingat aku tak tau ko cakap apa?! Walaupun tak paham, aku tau la wei, bila orang ngutuk aku. Ngan nada ko semua...takpe, aku pun ngutuk ko depan2. Cakap bahasa jawa lagi!!
Tadi siap dia bleh main hempas2 laptop depan aku. Ewah, ewah....aku hempuk muka ko balik kang!! Sah2 aku tanya soklan valid, yang ko terasa kenapa? Sah2 ko nak menipu aku kan...benda tak jalan, ko nak tunjuk yang jalan je. Aku tanya lebih sket, mengelabah. Tak jawab soklan. Aku tanya A, ko jawab Z. Lepas tu kata aku yang tak paham. Ko yang tak reti explain...sah2 requirement aku dah bagi 10 muka pun, ko bleh silap lagi.
Memang la...habis PROJECT ni, aku tak mau tengok muka mamat/minah ni semua!!!! Tolong laaaaa!!!!!!
