I should have blogged about this when it happened but I guess I was still in some kind of denial.
Dania...has entered the realm of womenhood.
Auww, shucks!!
OK, Dania came her first period last week. She announced it very "matter of fact"ly and with no crying on her part. Unlike her mother, who felt like throwing herself on the floor, screaming "Why...why....why is my baby growing up so fast?!!"
She's nine. Nine, ok!!
Isn't this too soon?

wah, awalnya.
tp budak2 skrg kan cepat matang, that's why kot?
My daughter baligh umur 11 tahun. Termenung-menung jugaklah I dibuatnya. Rasa macam dia belum habis jadi budak.
Inikan pulak your daughter yang umur baru 9 tahun. Along, I know how you feel. Apapun... walaupun sayu, redhakanlah... ini rezeki dia. Yang penting, give her your full support and understanding.
Best wishes for both of you!
heheh i had mine when i was nine also along :)
Along, anak saya sebaya Dania. Adoi, saya sendiri tak prepare untuk dia baligh lagi.

Assalamualaikum Along,
Congrats for the promotion as a mother of an "anak dara"... :).
Fatihah is a few months younger than Dania so, I think I should be "prepared" for D-Day.. :).
awalnya! uih.. 11 thn pun dh rasa mcm awal inikan pulak 9. good luck with the training process :)
alamak Long..Sara pun dah 9 thn..hari tu dia complaint brest dia sakit2..tgk pun agak menaik sket breast dia..tapi aku pun tak ready kalau dia period awal2...aku period pun dulu umur 13..huhuks...
Ooh, 9 is young, but not unheard of. Maybe take her to the doctor? A friend of mine's daughter had this happen, and the doctor said there were shots they could give her to suppress it (which he recommended because it can stunt their growth to start so early) and the mother refused, and now at 15, I think she's the surliest girl I've ever met.
