Apparently I'm An Uptown Girl...

..because that was the only song I knew in full during the Westlife concert last week. Muahahaha...nampak sangat dah tua, lagu Billy Joel jugak yang ingat.

So, like I mentioned in my previous entry, Noresh and I went to the Westlife concert last Friday. I think for both of us, it wasn't a die-hard-fan kind of decision but more of a "I need a change of pace" kind of thing.

I had a 3-5pm meeting that day but was determine to leave office early. Noresh had suggested I arrive at her house before 6pm and she would drive us both to the stadium. Luckily, my EVP wasn't feeling all that well that day so the meeting ended just on time. In fact, thanks to my expert driving skills, I reached Noresh's house before she was even ready to go.

The drive to the stadium was rather smooth and lucky for us, we got a good parking space, not too far from the entrance. Dah tua maa, must save energy for the concert! Haha. We had to queue for like 20 minutes before we were allowed in. Oya, have to add that the people handling the gates wouldn't allow stuff like cameras, umbrellas, even those colorful, glow sticks in. Which is fine except there were people selling those glow sticks not 5 meters away from the gates. If they were not allowed into the concert hall, then the people handling the gates should have not allowed people to sell them either!! Imagine, fishing out RM10 (I think that was the price) for a glow stick, then having it confiscated at the gate. Sheeeshhh!!

Being the non-fans that we were, we had bought the cheapest tickets available. Itu pun nak RM100 gak!! Nevermind..once in a while. Can't believe the last concert I went to was when I was still studying in the US.

Since we arrived rather early, we had a lot of time to kill before the concert started (8.30pm). This is where our seats were from the stage.

Giller jauh, but at least they had those two jumbo screens at the side of the stage. Those seats in front (blue section) costs RM599 or something like that! Crazy!! And it was rather packed when the concert started. Some people apparently have money to burn.

Camwhore moment. Actually we were getting anxious for the concert to start. The boys were late!! In the end, the concert started at 9.15pm. Both Noresh and I were already yawning at that time.

Anyway, the showmanship was good. The boys really knew how to interact with the crowd. There was one part of the show where they invited this dude and his girlfriend up on stage. Before they sang the next song, the dude gave a short speech then got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend!! So sweet!!! everyone was cheering them on. I think the gf started crying or something. Oya, and she said yes! Hahahhaa...

I must say, Nicky looks super cute in real life. And Mark and Shane sound exactly like in their albums. Super voices. And Kian had everyone say hi to his unborn child on videotape. "Hi Twinkle". Too cute!

All in all, it was good fun eventhough I only knew 3 out of 10 or so of their songs. Haha. Now, if only NKOTB would get their fine butts to Malaysia, that's one concert not to be missed!!

ps: I have some videos from the concert, taken using my handphone  but won't upload them coz you can hear me singing in the background. And Adele I am not, so I'll spare you guys the torture. Hahahhaa!

Bukan..Bukan..

Bukan sebab semua cadangan hal birthday party tu. Isy..itu Along nak ucap terima kasih la sebab sudi bagi idea. Sampai Dina pun dah tak tau nak pilih mana satu. Hehehehe...

Hal benda lain...takyah nak explain di sini la..simpan je dalam hati...

Thanks again ya to all that gave their ideas for the birthday party. Kalau menjadi (besar betul kalau dia...huhuhu), nanti Along akan update di sini.

AlFatihah Untuk Keluarga Arwah Dr. Lo' Lo'

Rasanya semua mungkin dah dengar berita. Dr. Lo' Lo' meninggal dunia malam semalam akibat kanser. Berita yang sedih, bukan sahaja bagi penyokong politik beliau tapi juga saudara mara dan sahabat handai.

Aku kenal arwah sebab rumah dia betul2 sebelah rumah arwah atok aku kat Keramat. Selama kitaorang kena dia, memang beliau seorang yang baik hati dan peramah. Tak kedekut dengan senyuman. Masa atok aku sakit dulu, dia selalu datang menjenguk, bagi ubat, bagi nasihat. Memang baik orangnya.

Aku tak tau pun dia sakit. Maybe dia tak bagitau orang kot. Or maybe aku je yang tak tau. Apa2 pun, aku harap dia pergi dengan aman. Harap keluarganya pun dapat hadapi dugaan ini dengan tabah.

Semoga roh Arwah Dr. Lo' Lo' ditempatkan disisi mereka yang diredhai oleh Allah.

Ya Kerajaan, Sila Kembalikan Duitku...

...yang terlebih bayar. Banyak tu...seribu lebih!! Bleh aku shopping macam2 lagi. Isy...tak..bukan, nak simpan. Kredit kad bill agak tinggi bulan ni. Belanja dinner En Rashid la..beli kasut baru la. Oya, aku blum cite lagi pasal kasut baru aku kan? Kejap...nak pi carik gambar dulu...

OK, so Sabtu yang lepas, aku kluar ngan girlfrens2 aku. Ni dah plan beberapa bulan dah, in the end ada jugak sorang tercicir sebab anak dia sakit and warded. Takpe, ada alasan bleh kluar ngan depa in the near future, sebab haritu tak cukup korum. Heee.

Anyways, kitaorg dok pikir mana shopping mall nak pi attack. Mid Valley dah muak sampai nak muntah darah. In the end, kitaorang agree nak pi Empire Subang Jaya. Reason: semua tak pernah pi kecuali aku. Itu pun aku pi tak meronda mana pun, setakat pi makan je. So ok, dah set tempat, dah janji kul berapa nak jumpa semua...so kira mencarik aktiviti.

Yang sorang dok cadang cabut bulu, sorang cadang buat manicure, sorang cadang makan 3x....macam2 aktiviti la dicadangkan. In the end, kitaorang spend time dok pusing satu mall, shopping sakan and makan berkali2. Oh ya, and of course bergossip. Heee. Takpe...the activity doesn't matter, but the company you're with does. So, everyone had fun especially aku sebab aku berjaya membelanjakan duit aku membeli ntah apa barang ntah!! Yeahh!! Selalunya aku la yang paling payah nak beli barang. Belek 20 kali, sarung cuba, minta saiz kat salegirl, last2 letak balik kat atas rak. Putih mata salesgirl tu dengar aku cakap "nevermind, thanks ya!"

Ni actually aku nak salahkan Noresh sebab hasut aku beli kasut ni. And also the salesgirls. Pandai berkata2 pada naluri hatiku yang teringin barang branded tapi tak pernah beli sebab tak reti nak memakai pun. Tapi, aku memang suka kasut ni. Masa memula masuk kedai tu, mata aku terus terzoom kat kasut tu. Memang lain dari yang lain. See for yourself.

Actually cameraphone aku ni tak bring justice to the shoes sebab color dia tak nampak naik. In real life, color dia striking, nak2 part yang emas2 tu. Hmmm, heels dia...yer, memang 5 inci. Giller betul aku ni pi beli kasut tinggi macam tu. Dah la En Rashid, how to say, "vertically challenged"...pi beli lak kasut tinggi menggung ni. Takpe..bukan aku nak pakai time berjalan sebelah dia pun. Hehehehe...

Masa aku memula tunjuk kat En Rashid tu, dia tergelak. Tapi sebab aku tayang kasut dengan cara memberahikan, so agak positive jugak end reactionnya. Muahahaha...dah pi spend duit beli memacam, cara confession mesti pandai la kan?

Harga? Jangan tanya bleh? Nak kata ridiculous tak la...for the brand and the craftmanship, memang berpatutan. Tapi untuk aku yang selama ni dok pakai kasut Scholl je...agak dramatic la jugak. Tapi ni nak lawan ngan adik ipar aku yang ada kasut Jimmy Choo tu. KakNgah, amacam kasut Along? Lagi lawa tak dari kamu pun JC? Oya, ni brand Pedro tau. Hehehehe...teruk aku ni, ngan adik ipar pun nak jaki.

Dah la beli kasut tinggi, beli plak cincin 2 bijik yang besar gedabak. Ni semua aku salahkan Mia Michael, judge yang dalam show So You Think You Can Dance tu! Dek dia la, aku tetiba tergillerkan cincin2 besar ni. Tapi aku rasa good investment sebab aku pakai kat tempat keje ngan kelas, semua memuji cantik. Yang pompuan la, yang lelaki dok tanya muka sapa aku nak tumbuk bagi lebam ngan cincin tu. Setakat ni ada dua color je cincin tu, red and black. Nanti aku nak kumpul biar ada semua color of the rainbow...yellow, blue, indigo, hijau taik...semua la!

Oleh itu, aku akan berasa sangatlah berbesar hati sekiranya kerajaan memulangkan semula duit tax aku yang dah terlebih bayar dengan kadar segera. Banyak benda nak beli, nak contribute to the country's economy (yer sangat la tu!!!)

Another One Done!

Yesterday, my team did our presentation for Law. Yeah..over and done with! Despite the usual last minute preparations, we did ok. We kind of winged it through but participation from the class helped liven up the session. In the end, we took over an hour to present all the slides. Hahaha..seriously, sometimes our ability to "menggoreng" amazes me. :D

Initially we wanted to go "wild" and wear robes and fake wigs like judges, seeing how it is a law class. But we couldn't find any in such short notice. So we decided to just wear the usual coats. Min, being the pervert she is, suggested we jazz up our dress code further.

Apparently, pants were optional!!

Makhluk Halus....

Korang pernah tengok iklan2 macam ni tak? Kat area rumah aku banyak. Tiap kali lalu, mesti aku terpikir, apa maksud dia "cara halus?" Pakai toyol kah? Ada lagi ye toyol zaman i.Pad dan an.droid ni? Lepas tu, bleh pakai "khidmat" dia untuk hutang juta2 je plak tu. Setau aku, toyol tu kecik je. Camne dia nak angkut duit juta2 kluar rumah, bawak ke rumah tuan dia? Dia ada poket ala seluar kargo ke? Dia pi reramai ke, macam ala aladin & the forty thieves?

Banyak la soalan aku. Bukan pinta nak tengok (BUKAN!!!!), cuma curious je. Tapi takde la sampai tahap nak tengok ngan mata kepala aku sendiri.

Bibik gemuk aku dulu ada cite, kalau kat Indon, ramai orang bela toyol. Kalau jejalan nak pergi pasar ke, pergi shopping ke, kalau nampak orang berjalan sambil letak dua2 tangan kat belakang, jauh2 la sket. Itu tanda dia tengah bawak toyol dia jalan2 atas belakang dia.

Uwaaaa!!! Siap bawak toyol jalan2 tu. Ke time tu mencarik mangsa?

Ingat dulu masa kecik2, tengok filem hantu toyol tu. Time tu, sapa budak laki yang muka penyangak sikit kena panggil Bachuk. Paling takleh lupa time toyol tu dok panggil tuan dia.."Bachuuuuk..mari, Bachuuuuk." Uwaaaaa...mengapakah??!! Camne parents aku bleh bagi aku tengok cite tu kecik2 dulu? Dia punya effect dia sampai sekarang terasa tau. Yish...

Dulu masa aku kecik2, famili aku dok kat rumah arwah atok aku kat Keramat. Rumah atok aku ni ala banglow dibelah 3; ada rumah depan, ada rumah belakang, ada rumah atas. Semua ada entrance, bilik, dapur masing2. Famili aku dok kat rumah atas. Time ni kitaorang baru balik dari UK, ayah aku baru habis buat PhD. Orang baru balik dari England la katakan, cakap melayu pun berterabur la. Tapi time bermain tu, geng je ngan jiran2 sebelah. Antara member2 aku time tu Wan Nor Iza, Ajib ngan Joe. Umur lebih kurang sama. Selalu kitaorang main nyorok2 ataupun baling selipar. Kot time kitaorang tengah benci ngan bebudak lelaki tu, aku ngan Iza main batu seremban. Tak pun main getah.

Bila dah penat bermain, selalu pi rumah salah sorang la..pi songlap air sejuk kat peti ais. Rumah aku payah sket sebab ibu aku yang sangat garang tu asyik ada. So selalu rumah Iza la yang jadi mangsa. Mak dia single mom, so time keje memang free willy la kitaorang nak buat apa kat rumah dia.

Ada satu hari tu, kitaorang dah penat main baling2 selipar, pi la rumah Iza untuk minum. Time tu baru lepas raya, so banyak la air2 gas dalam botol dalam peti ais. Nikmat wa cakap lu...gaya minum macam togak todi! Nak beli sendiri manade duit. Hehehe. Sambil2 layan air gas sejuk tu, tengok2 TV, tetiba Ajib kluar cite hal kecurian yang dok happening kat area rumah kitaorang time tu. Dia cakap dia terdengar nenek dia cite hal toyol. Time tu, sebut je the "T" word, bulu roma, bulu hidung aku semua dah meremang dah. Si Joe ngan Iza ni dok beria2 la, tambah cerita, dengar dari orang sana, dengar cerita dari orang sini. Aku diam je la....baru balik UK maaa...mana aku ada cite nak add in pun...kang aku bukak cite werewolf plak kang.

Tetiba kan, tengah syok dengar diaorang bercerita, aku ternampak something lalu kat depan pintu rumah Iza. Memula aku ingat kucing tapi setau aku kucing Iza warna oren. Benda tadi tu warna hitam. Lepas tu takde pun aku nampak ekor melambai2. Memula aku ingat nak buat tak tau je la, and then aku terpandang muka Ajib. Putih muka mamat tu ko...mata terbeliak lagi pandang kat tingkap belakang TV Iza!!! Aku dah mula panik ah...apesal mamat ni? Aku cuit peha Iza, soh dia tengokkan Ajib tu. Then aku pun pandang la slow2 ke arah mana Ajib tengah pandang.






Sib baik takde apa2! Aku pun tak tau la apa aku nak buat kalau aku nampak apa2. Time tu Ajib pun dah mula ok...tapi dia cepat2 bangun and terus balik rumah dia. Takde cakap bye, takde see you tomorrow. Iza ngan Joe macam blur. Aku antara nak cakap ngan tak nak cakap apa aku nampak tadi. Sebabnya 1) aku pun tak sure sebenarnya apa benda tadi aku nampak 2) aku takut kalau aku cakap nanti, dia tetiba melompat muncul depan aku, macam dipanggil2 lak.

Agak dah lama lepas incident tu, baru la Ajib cerita apa yang dia nampak kat rumah Iza aritu.







Apa dia nampak? Eeeee...aku takmo cite la. Ni pun aku dah start seriau dah ni...benda dah lama terperap dalam long-term memory aku, tetiba jadi fresh lak. Nanti la...kot aku berani time siang2, aku cite balik. Ni dah malam, aku nak pi tidokan anak2 kejap (dan2 time ni nak jadi ibu mithali!).

No More Financial Papers!

Yes, done with FM. Finally. And very happy to know that I don't have to sit for any more financial classes throughout the rest of the trimester. Yippee!!

How was the exam? As usual, stressful. Good thing was that most of the hints given by the lecturer actually came out. Not so good thing, I forgot some of the essay points so it was a trade-off; easy calculations but not-so-easy essays question or messy calculations yet easy essay questions. Urghh..overall, I think I did OK. Just OK. There was one part where I only got the inspiration to answer, like 5 minutes before times was up. I hope the lecturer doesn't deduct points for bad handwriting. LOL.

Anyway, since my adrenaline level is way to high for me to sleep, I think I'll do some studying for HRM. Haven't even started to see that notes even.

ps: Many condolences to my classmate, Faizah, who's mom passed away today. She didn't come for the exam and since I knew her mom had been very sick, I kind of guess that is what happened. My other classmates confirmed the news after the exam. Al-Fatihah.

Goodbye, farewell

Today I said goodbye to an old friend. We have been together for nearly 11 years. Eventhough we no longer have much in common, he was with me when I first joined the workplace. We've been through so much together, good times and bad. We've been to so many places, met so many people, had so many experiences with each other. He's been showing his age lately but all in all, still going strong. Today, he left for a new place...somewhere where I may never see him again. Before he left, I hugged him and caressed him and whispered words of encouragement. Don't forget me, I told him.

















Goodbye, my Wira. You have served us well. We shall miss you always. Sob...!

Study, Study, Study

Next week is my final exams week so of course this weekend is spent in front of books and the laptop, reading up on the stuff that will be in the exams. So many hints flying around, that I don;t know what to read. Don't tell me everything because my brain would totally explode just even thinking about it.

Last night I took a breather from studying and went to my colleague's house for her CNY open house. All the way in Segambut, which both me and En Rashid were not familiar with. However, thanks to google map and our somewhat reliable GPS, we found the house. Food was a plenty and the kids enjoyed themselves. So, it was a nice venture outside the house.

Today, I spent the whole day looking at my FM & OM notes. Have not even touch my HRM notes. Oh help me, why am I putting myself through this again?

Bye2 Adik Hafis

Jumaat lepas, ada sorang budak ofis aku quit keje. Sebabnya aku kurang tau, nak ke mana lepas ni pun aku kurang tau. Apa aku tau pun, aku tak tau. Haha.


Anyway, adik ni (yer, adik sangat2 la....muda 10 tahun aku rasa) masa memula masuk keje sangat pemalu. Tempat duduk satu row ngan aku tapi jauh sket. Ntah camne, tetiba dia pindah tempat dok sebelah aku lak. Muahahahaa...silap la. Asyik la kena buli ngan aku. Tapi adik ni baik, kalau nak pi carik makanan kat kedai bawah, mesti tanya aku nak tapau apa2 tak. Kalau aku period ke apa, dia pun sesama cuak kalau aku dah nak kehabisan 'pampers'. Hahahaha.


So sedikit sebanyak, bila aku dapat tau dia nak berenti keje, aku sedih gak la. Ye ah...lepas ni sapa nak layan aku kalau tetiba aku haus ke, lapar ke...sapa nak belikan aku makanan?!! Sapa?!!


Eh, emotional lak. Takpe, layan gambar. Ni ambik masa kitaorang buat jamuan makan2 sempena dia nak belah. Part cake tu aku tak tahan, sungguh obscene. Siap tukang buat cake tu bleh betul2kan t*t*k minah tu sebab konon kurang push up. Sabar je la. Tapi sedap kek ni, aku jugak yang tukang pelahap banyak.

Ni gambar aku ngan adik empunya kek. Ni namanya pelukan seorang kakak yer. Takde niat lain. Jangan nak start ngumpat aku lak.

YB, Goat, Monkey

This is Joe. Apparently he's aiming to be the next YB of....somewhere. Met him for lunch last Thursday. Beria aku dok carik orang pakai selekeh kat restoran tu, tengok2 member pakai batik. Muahahahaha...agak lama aku menggelakkan dia. What to do, gomen staff. Hehehe. I told him to pose and he gave this "Dato' YB sedang bagi ceramah" action. Hampeh.

This is a goat. One of the many goats we went to visit during our field trip last OM class. Surprisingly, the goats were very clean and did not smell as bad as I thought they would. In fact, they were rather cute. The baby goats were adorable, almost made me want to have one as a pet. Heee.

This is my cheeky little monkey. She's so big now. She makes me laugh everyday. She calls me "ibu" now, which just melts my heart everytime I hear it. I could snuggle up to her and smell her sweet smell all day long. Wish I could keep her this small forever. *sniff* Please don't grow up so quickly.

All The Gatherings

Sorry I haven't been updating in a while. Been super busy. I'm still missing my poor car which the workshop told us would take a month (if we're lucky!) to repair. Oh well.

Just thought I would take a few minutes to update on some gatherings we had these past few weeks.

Gal Pals Day Out

This was 2 weeks back, I think. Our outing was to celebrate my exam results (heee!) plus Noresh had just finished confinement so she was itching to get out of the house. We decided to meet up at Gardens coz Noresh was hungry for Chillies. I decided to bring Dania since I had promised to buy her the 2nd and 3rd books of the Mackenzie Blue series. In the end, I ended up bringing Dina also coz she cried non-stop and begged me to bring her.

Liza and I were the first to arrive. We ordered starters and food and I got the free kids meals for the girls. 20 minutes later Lin arrived followed by Her Majesty Noresh a good 45 minutes later. Hmmmpp! We ordered way too much food but it was great eating and gossiping and catching up with each other.

Then we started the shopping spree. Now, I was the one who initiated the gathering coz I felt like celebrating with a crazy shopping spree. But for those who know me, you guys know how hard it is for me to actually shop! It's like I find a million and one reason NOT to buy anything. In the end, all I bought were books for the girls at M.P.H. and a pair of shoes for myself at Sem.Bonia. Even that took much persuasion from the girls and Dina, who picked out the shoes for me.

After shopping, we headed to Ale.xis for some desserts and coffee. We talked until around 6pm then Liza and Lin decided to head back home. We said our goodbyes then I took the girls to JJ to buy some much needed underwear. The girls, not me. Hmmm. We were on our way out of the parking lot when hubby called "why are you guys not back yet?". Eh, miss us much?

Birthday Pool Party

I think this was last week. Actually it was the day after Atok had passed away so truth be told, I wasn't in much of a mood to go. But I had promised Noresh (it was her kids' party) plus I had told the girls about the pool being held at a swimming pool, so there was really no way I could get out of it.







And really, I was glad we went. We had great fun. The food was nice. Daria, who previously was terrified of the pool, has decided she's now a mermaid and refused to get out of the pool once we got her in! Hahahahaa...she didn't even want to use the floats after a while and wanted to run around in the pool by herself. Do you have any idea how tiring it is running after an 18 month baby in a swimming pool is? Pergh...well at least I got a nice workout. Muahahaha...

Hari Raya Aidiladha

This was last Wednesday. Hari Raya Korban.















The initial plan to have to have everyone gather at my parents' house but since Atok passed away, we figured it would be more appropriate to gather at his house instead. We arrived around 10am and saw that most of the grub had already been laid out. The usual ketupat, rendang, peanut sauce menu.

We had planned a steamboat session in the evening so while waiting for that, everyone relaxed and watched TV and gossiped. The steamboat session was fun, I know I ate too much!















As usual, Daria was the star of the show and everyone wanted a piece of her. It's so tough being so cute!!

Last Weekend...

Friday: Went to my parents house. We haven’t been there in a month. My mom’s maid was already anxious to see the girls, especially Daria. Didn’t do much on Friday since my mom was out with her cousin, visiting their uncle who was sick in NS. Watched most of the Bollywood movies on since it was Deepavali.

Saturday: Went to visit my grandfather who had been discharged from the hospital last Thursday. Doing a bit better, starting to have some appetite. Still in pain but at least sleeping better. The visit was more for my uncles who were taking care of my grandfather. Taking care of a sick, old person is very stressful. I can only hope I can do the same for my parents if the time comes.
That night, my dad took the whole family out for a steak dinner at D’Bayu. Overall, the food was average. They cooked most of the meat medium rare so you have to stress if you want it well done (they did not ask). The helpings were ok, quantity wise. The price was a bit high considering the taste and ambiance. Maybe we should just stick to VS for steak next time.

On Sunday, I had my outing with my gal pals. This time I brought Dania and Dina along. We spent the whole afternoon eating, gossiping, shopping, eating some more. Heee, dah mahgrib baru balik rumah. It was fun and I bought new shoes!! Plus books for the girls and underwear…for the girls. Ibunya tak sompek nak beli.

Today, working in Cyber. Period pain like a bitch!!

Tomorrow, classes start again!!

Entri Meraban Pasal Posa Ganti Semalam

Hari ni aku posa ganti lagi. Kalau arini berjaya, maksudnya tinggal satu hari je lagi hutang aku ngan Allah. Hmmm, sungguh mencabar posa time bukan bulan Ramadhan ni. Tapi macam la aku tak tau kan…since aku darjah 6 lagi, aku dah menghadapi situasi ni. Cuma certain2 tahun yang aku preggers je, aku dapat posa penuh time Ramadhan, jadi takyah rasa seksaan menggantinya. Adakah ini membuatkan aku ingin preggers? Oh tidak…aku sanggup ganti 10 bulan punya posa dari preggers lagi. Wahahahahaa…sila ambik perhatian yer, En Rashid.

Semalam aku posa ganti gak. Punya la seksa. Dah la ngan laptop aku asyik buat hal (serious, kalau dek bukan aku kena ganti balik laptop ni kalau hilang, dah lama aku baling dalam lombong. Sila ajukan aku ke lombong terdekat!)…ngan aku tak bangun sahur. Mata aku asyik2 tengok jam, asyik2 tengok jam. Ada sekali tu aku tengok jam, kul 11.15am. Aku buat keje sket…cek email sket…tengok balik jam…baru kul 11.18am!!! Apakah dunia sudah masuk slo-motion kah?!! Arghhh…seksanya.

Dek aku kebosanan terperap kat ofis je, konon cadang nak pi Amcorp mencari buku. Sekarang aku kalau nak pi beli buku, satu tempat je yang aku tuju…BookXcess. Korang pi carik la, dia tingkat atas sekali. Dulu kecik je kedai dia, sekarang dah besar. Best beli buku kat situ sebab murah bangat. Kalau MPH jual RM30, kat situ ko bleh dapat RM15. Half price gitu. Tapi tengok jugak la jenis buku apa. Dia banyak story books ah kat situ, and then harga dah murah…kekadang dia bagi discount lagi. Best!!

Okla…habis dah aku promote kedai buku tu. Aku pun dek boring..and dek jam laptop aku ni macam dah rosak je (macam tak bergerak je)..aku pun sms Liza, tanya nak pi beli buku tak. Makcik tu tengah nak makan rupanya..tengah pelahap nasi. Takpe la Liza, ko teruskan la aktiviti melahap ko tu. Aku pun dok tenung2 keadaan langit kat luar…macam panas je. Malas le plak nak pi menapak jauh2 (bukan jauh mana pun, lagipun naik ketapi, jalan kaki sikit je…dasar pemalas!), baik aku layan TV kat bilik bos aku ni. So in the end, aku spend jugak lunch time aku terperap dalam ofis, cuma bezanya aku terperap dalam ofis bos yg best sambil layan Law & Order.

Bila dah kul 2pm, keadaan aku dah mula kronik. Giller lapar ok! Sib baik gak la aku tak pi terokai kedai buku tadi, kalau x mesti either aku buka posa or pengsan tengah jalan. Time tu jugak, laptop aku makin mengganas ketidakbetulannya. Aku sedn satu email, dia hang. Kena restart. Send satu email, hang lagi. Apakah dosa aku nak send email ni? Dengan send-menyend email ni, baru orang tau saya buat keje tau. Kalau tak, mesti orang ingat saya ngadap laptop sambil layan FB. Sian nanti orang tu dapat dosa free sebab saya takde akaun FB pun.
Kul 4.30pm, aku dah sms En Rashid. Arini orang posa, jadi balik on time. Yer, aku ngan En Rashid bahasakan diri masing2 “orang”. Tak tau la kenapa…and sesungguhnya memang tak romantic. Tapi kitaorang memang bukan jenis romantic pun. Romen hebat…romantic tidak! Muahahahahaa…ok, abaikan statement aku tadi.

En rashid cuba mencabar keimanan aku. “Ada keje ni.” Oooo, pentingkan keje dari bini yer. Baiklah!! Lepas tu bleh soh aku tumpang member ofis balik rumah lak. Ketahuilah, aku dah nak separa pengsan ni, memang niat aku masuk kete, terus nak tido terkangkang. Mengapa terkangkang? Sebab cara itu menunjukkan betapa penatnya aku posa aritu.

Sib baik En Rashid saying bini rupanya…dapat la aku balik on time. Dan memang aku bantai tido terkangkang sampai balik rumah. Layanla En Rashid radio tu sorang2…macam aku tak tau dia dok nyanyi lagu Lady Gaga.

Balik rumah dah kul 630pm. Nikmat!! Maghrib tinggal 30 minit je lagi. Layan si budak kecik tu, sedar2 dah azan. Puas hati dapat minum air serbuk coklat secawan besar. Nak2 la tengok lauk yang Wati masak, sodap2 belaka. Aku pun jadi macam liza, makan nasi dengan pelahapnya.
Harini aku posa lagi. Liza baru je sms aku pi carik buku. Aku tak sahur pagi tadi. Patutkah aku gagahkan diri? 3 hari cuti deepavali ni…ngadap muka En Rashid cukup ½ hari, baik aku pi beli buku. Heeee.

Study Leave

I'm on study leave since yesterday until next Wednesday. Can't believe my 1st trimester is almost over. How time flies. I remember when I first stepped into my 1st class, I was so nervous and excited at the same time. I remember scanning the room, looking for a BFF I could hook up with (Hi, Min!) while also checking out any cute guys I could use as distractions when I'm bored (alas...tadak..hehe).

I haven't gotten around to do much studying yet since Daria has been unwell these past few days. She's been having the fever plus she got the cough and flu from Dina, so sleeping has been a problem for both mommy and baby. Yesterday she even threw up a couple of time so I took her to the child specialist for a proper checkup. Her medications cost me RM100 but what's that compared to my baby's health. I'm pleased to announce that today her fever went down considerably and her nose isn't so runny anymore. She still has the cough but I think the phlegm is going away. She doesn't sound like a hacking dog so much when she coughs now.

My parents are in Hanoi right now on their bi-monthly golf trips. I think they're coming back tonight. I know my mom is hoping we'll be coming over this weekend but I really need to do some serious studying for my exams. I'm so freaked out right now, I can't seem to remember any formulas or definitions. I already know my standing grade for OB; B+ which is somewhat of a downer coz I'm really hoping I get an A for that subject. Here's hoping my pair assignment went well, plus I don't panic during finals. I think I'm ok for my Econs but there's just so much to cover for the finals. Accounts....urghh....I need to do a lot of praying for that class. Hahaha.

All in all, it's been an adventurous 4 months. Challenging, to say the least but thanks to the support from my family, my bosses and my staff, I think I did ok.

Here's to the next 5 trimesters. God help me!

OK, enough about the cat lover. Here's random facts about what's going on at Casa Along.

1. Dania is having her exams this week and she only told me yesterday. She called me up at work for me to wish her luck. Her exact words were "Ibu, wish me luck. I have exams today but don't worry, I already read my books last night....when you were at school." Note, the last part of her sentence got me.

2. Dina is going to be 6 next week. My brother is going to have a makan2 session on Sunday (which my MOM told me about..and invited me to. Tuan rumah tak ajak pun...but who cares..:P) so I may crash the party with a birthday cake for her.

3. I got really good marks for my Econs paper!! Yeah!! I was a bit peeved that I lost marks for not understanding correctly the question but all in all, over 20, 18.7 is not bad. Not bad at all!! I just hope I can continue to pull in good marks for this class. My group presentation is due next Monday (to which the cat lover is also in my group) so this weekend will be used to complete that and the many other assignments pending.

4. Hubby and the girls may be going back to Melaka Friay night for hubby's cousin's wedding. Which means I'll be home alone again this weekend. But only until Saturday night since the makan2 session is on Sunday.

5. I may use the time alone to go visit my dear friend Noresh, who gave birth to a new baby boy 3 weeks back. I still have her Spanx she ordered. Heee...jangan marah ah Noresh. Anything, I'll call you.

6. I can't believe my 1st trimester is almost over. Only 2-3 more classes, then the Finals. Wow.

7. I'm on my 5th day of puasa enam. Hopefully I can complete before Syawal ends.

8. I need to wax my legs. Like seriously.

Congratulations Angah & Zaiti!!

Last weekend was hectic but a very happy occasion for the family. My brother got married!! Woohoo!! I have no energy to write much so I'll just let the pictures tell the story. We'll start with the hantaran (gifts). Shoes for Zaiti. Hambik ko...Jimmy Choo!! I think until the day I die, I won't be able to buy shoes like these. Not that I can wear them anyhow, my feet will only take Scholls...jadi la kan? MAC makeup for Zaiti. Again, kulit aku bleh Olay and Maybelline je. Sib baik for En Rashid.

Handbag...brand? Terforgot...hhehee.. Toiletries. Never heard of the brand but you can bet they cost more than RM10 over the counter. Heh. It's taking too long to upload each and every hantaran picture. Enjoy the wide shot.

The following pictures and videos were taken during the akad nikah ceremony at Zaiti's sister's house. Angah's friends who help carry all the hantaran. Everyone wore black, kira macam Hang Tuah gitu. Eh, Tuah pakai black ke? Apa2 je la. Of course, my two dayangs were part of the entourage. Both were very excited their Pak Ngah was getting married. How Could I Forget?!

Congratulations to my girlfriend LIN for safely delivering her cute twin baby boys, Hadi and Hamdi!!



She delivered last Wednesday? Thursday? (Zai, when did we go and visit her?) at HUKM. Both babies are doing fine, although initially they had to be admitted due to low blood sugar.



Lin!! Welcome to the Mommy Club. We'll come to visit again in a month's time when all of you have settled down.

A Short Sweet Weekend with Family and Friends

After more than a month, we headed back to my parents house last weekend. My dad was very happy to know we still knew the directions to his house. Hahahaha...apala, it wasn't our fault (entirely) that we all had the pink eye for a whole month!!

We arrived on Saturday morning eventhough my parents were still at a wedding in Johor at the time. Dania and Dina were very happy as they got to play with their new scooters my mom had bought for them.

I had to leave a few minutes after we arrived since it was my day with the girls, hi-tea at Crowne Plaza courtesy of Lin. Thanks Lin, best giller makan. Post and pictures coming soon.

That very night, I took the girls to visit my grandma in Keramat. Sian wan, we haven't been to visit her since raya!! Unacceptable. As expected, my grandma shed happy tears seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren. We stayed until 10pm, then headed back with promises to visit again real soon.

Sunday was spent lazing around with the girls since bibik and Enon went out for their own "hi-tea" session. Hehehehe, bagi can la...sian bibik dah lama tak kluar.

So today it's back to work. Good thing I have morning and afternoon meetings in Cyber, no need to drive all the way to HQ. Ahhh...Monday blues minimized slightly.

Another Baby for the Gang

Yesterday I went to visit Akish, who had delivered a baby boy 3 weeks back. She was due to go back to Abu Dabhi the following day (today) so it was a last minute before we would meet again...god knows when.

Noresh buzz me in the morning asking if I was going. Heck yes. 2 weeks of being cooped up at home and I was read to juuussstt about lose it. My eye infection..hmm, yeah..it's ok, I guess. I mean, the redness has gone but my eyelids are still slightly swollen. But what the heck, I packed my hand sanitizer with me and promised not to infect anyone...on purpose.

Turns out, I was the first one to arrive at Akish's house. Typical janji melayu, kata kul 10. Aku siap sesat lagi. I had brought the girls with me since they too were itching to get out of the house.

In the end, everyone in the gang was there to say farewell to Akish. Last time we all did that, I was 7 months preggers with Daria.

I love babies when they are at this stage, all they do is sleep. But I still can't imagine Akish taking the little fellow on the plane, and being being in flight for 9 hours!! Not counting transit time. Semoga selamat!!

Lin sibuk ambik gambar si hero tu lagi. Tak sabar la tu, tunggu turn dia. Nanti la Lin, dah meletop ko esok, nak cebok berak pun tak sempat. Hehehehe. Liza muka tak puas hati, apesal? Muka si Akish takde sebab dia kata dia tengah tak semenggah. Tu la, aku soh pakai bengkung tak nak. Camne ko nak slim baik macam aku? Muahahaha...dah la kutuk member, puji diri sendiri lak tu. Sabar je la korang.
