A Review of the Weekend

Sorry guys for not updating my blog as much. The internet at home as been like WT%^$#*(@!%. Grrrr..

En Rashid and I finally took last Friday off to “celebrate” our anniversary. In the end, we spent it at the Immigration Office because we realized that our maid’s visa had expired!! Delightful!

On Saturday, we spent the day lounging around the house. Such a luxury nowadays. On Sunday, we took the girls to watch Cars 2. Daria, who was an angel the last time we took her to the movies, turned into the Tasmanian Devil this time. She refused to sit down in her chair and proceeded to turn around and “talk” to the people behind her. Horrors!! In the end, I took her outside and as it turned out, she had peed through her diaper. Great!!  

I start classes today. After 9 weeks of break, the thought of staying up until 3am to complete assignments just doesn’t feel right. Hahaha. Plus, this trimester, we start our electives so most of my classmates will be scattered as some of us will be taking Marketing, Finance, HR, IB or General Management.

Min, we won’t be able to gossip and share titty jokes in class anymore!!! L

Really feeling the Monday Blues today. Plus I’m fasting so can’t use food as my refuge. *Sigh*

A Quicky

It's not that I don't have much to update. I have LOTS!! Just that time is not on my side. Usually suspects; work, assignments, family. I feel like the Energizer Bunny. Can’t wait for July for my 10th anniversary romantic trip..hehe.

Yep, it will be 10 years being married to En. Rashid, come this September. Sometimes it feels like a lifetime, sometimes it feels like…what? 10 years with the same guy? God, I’m so faithful! Whatever it is, I couldn’t ask for a better husband. Except maybe Edward Norton but that’s wishful thinking. Heee…so to my cuddly hubby, I love you so much…may we have all happiness life can give us.

This week is our last week of classes, then its final exams next week. Finals…eeekkkk!! The best part is our MIS final is on a Saturday. Urgh. But after the finals, it’s 3 months of holiday from school. Waaahhh…nikmatnya. However I have a feeling that once classes start back in September, it’s going to take me at least 4-5 weeks to get back into the groove. For sure!

The past school holidays was rather mundane for the family. En. Rashid and I only took 2 days off during the 1st week of holidays. We took the kids to see Kungfu Panda 2 and back to my parents home. Fortunately my aunt had booked some chalets over in PD, so she invited my mom to bring the kids there for a swim. As it turned out, they ended up staying for one night because the kids were having too much fun with all my cousins.

9 Years Ago

9 years ago, we started our journey together.

9 years ago, we learned to think and act as a team.

9 years ago, we told each other our dreams and promised to help each other achieve them.

9 years ago, we told each other our fears and promised to always be together through thick and thin.

9 years ago, we promised to love each other, no matter how much we drove each other crazy.

9 years ago….

And today, we are still on that journey. It’s been an adventure so far.

Today, we are each other’s best partner in crime…and passion.

Today, we achieved those dreams…and so much more.

Today, we conquered those fears and realized how strong we make each other feel.

Today, the love we felt has deepened and grown, especially with the addition of our 3 beautiful daughters.

9 years ago…until today.

Happy Anniversary, Sayang. Thank you for sharing your life with me and for allowing me to share mine with you. Thank you for all the sweet memories. Thank you for being there during the not so sweet ones. I love you so much, words cannot express it.

8 Years and Counting

Today is our 8 year anniversary. Very sombre compared to previous years.

1. Hubby didn't wish me until I wished him first during our way to work. Even then he wouldn't admit that he'd forgotten. Sob! We drove past a Pizza San Francisco outlet and he said "ok, tonight I'll bring you out and eat here." Huh? A bowl of pasta is not going to get you off that easily!!

2. On my way back from a morning meeting, I slipped on the stairs and fell on my butt. Sib baik kaki tersilang cantik, duduk bersimpuh. Kalau terkangkang, memang aku tobat resign terus! People in their cars lining up to enter the parking lot all turned and looked at me. A taxi blew his horn. "Yeah, thanks for the heads up, bro. Why don't you take a picture and put it on the Internet next time."

3. In the end, hubby and I didn't go out for dinner. Bibik had already cooked up a storm. Hubby promised to take me out this weekend. Mana bang, makan roti canai ke? *Sigh*

Apa2 je la hubby dearest. I still love you to death!
